The other morning, I came across this great post about applying for web design jobs. I’ve been running in to so much negative information lately, this one was a welcome and needed breath of fresh air! It caught my attention but in a good way.

I’ve written several times about all the great resources online for web designers; free tutorials, videos, blogs, I love them all! But there are definitely times when I really want the convenience and comfort of a bound, paper book to read and carry with me. (Maybe I’m an old fashioned girl…) With so many books on web design out these days, I don’t always know which ones will make the best investment. As much as I love to read, spending time and money on a terrible book invokes the same anger and disappointment as walking out of the theatre after seeing a terrible movie – I want those hours and dollars back!

Luckily, my time and hard earned cash has been extremely well spent over the past few weeks on Bullet Proof Design by Dan Cederholm. (more…)
